speakers got wet, now they sound horrible

Hey guys,

I had to be out in heavy rain this morning and had to use my phone every now and then. The speaker's must have gotten wet, because the sound is very low now and sounds all distorted and strange. Do you think the speakers will go back to normal once they dry out?

Yes but keep the phone in front of warm dry air. A hairdryer a few times a day maybe.

My S7 loudspeaker acted up almost every time I submerged it, happened for most of a day a couple times. Sound returned to normal once it was dry.

Give it a day or 2 before you begin to worry.

sounds good I'm going to do this. I do have a replacement on hold but I'm going to see if the speakers clear up first.
