Hey all,

Was curious if anyone on here has tried any 3rd party navigation gesture apps from the Google Play store? Been reading and watching alot of videos regarding this and it looks like a cool idea to get rid of the nav bar and experience the whole screen in any app you are in. It can also add a pill at the bottom like the iPhone X or other Android phones that have strictly gesture based navigations. And on top of that you can customise your gestures to almost anything, Plus no rooting is required. Only thing you have to do is context to a computer to Grant access to USB debugging to hide the nav bar.

Curious on your thoughts, I'll put links to a few apps I'm looking at maybe trying.

I tried Navigation Gestures by XDA - I was sorely disappointed: I could not find an 'Action' that I could associate with a gesture (tap, double-tap, swipe) that would open the Application Drawer. WTH - how am I supposed to access the rest of my apps?
Additionally, when trying to adjust the size of the 'Pill', you can make all the adjustments you want but you can't see the effect until you exit the app - then you have to go back and readjust, exit, readjust, exit. Totally amateurish and not at all what I expected from an app from XDA.

Forgot to mention, I have a Pixel 2xl. Has anyone experimented with any of these apps or something like these apps.

That One + Gesture app is a paid app AND it has in-app purchases. On top of that I don't see an action in its list to simply open the App Drawer. I sent an email to the developer asking about that; depending on the response I get I may pay the first upfront fee to try it out. If I do I'll let you know.
