Wireless charging, IP68 vs IP67, greatly improved camera over what was already arguably the best camera in the business, better display, smaller bezels, free YouTube Music for 6 months ($72 value right there), an additional year of OS updates (because it's newer), newer and better SoC, HDR support, etc, etc. Also, prices of components still going up, which isn't a value add to us, but it's still a thing that exists.

If there is a Verizon store near you, check with them. When I was on Verizon that was how I got my 1st Pixel.

I really can't decide, to be honest. I actually don't mind "notches", and I like the near full screen look of phones like the iPhone X. That said, part of me kind of wants to get the smaller model, going forward, but I hate how Google makes the smaller model look like last year's XL model...

I was also hoping the Pixel 3 was going to start closer to $700, so $800 is already a little more than I wanted to spend, but $900 isn't that much more for the XL. I really don't know.

I ordered the Back Pixel 3 64gb with a Home Hub. Don't really care too much for large phones, but the Pixel 2 was a little small. The 5.5 18x9 should be pretty nice!

Ordered a regular unlocked Pixel 3 128gb in black right away and got delivery of Oct 19 - 22. Score. What is the deal with the warranty this year? I can't find warranty terms anywhere, just the "warranty center" where I assume the standard warranty is for 1 year. I don't want to cancel my order and re-order just to get preferred care. Did most of you get preferred care? I think it's a waste for me, but starting to second guess. I've never broken any phone ever...

Not buying one. That was one of the worse product releases I have ever seen,do they even rehearse or come on stage prepared, and way of Google to raise the price for the regular sized pixel because they know the XL is not going to sell this year. I feel betrayed... It sounds like everything on the pixel 3 is coming to the pixel line so if you have a 2 why upgrade? Google blew it.

I low key agree with you, I was planning on trading my iPhone X for the pixel 3 xl however the presentation was horrible I actually felt sorry for the young lady fumbling as she presented and the guy did the same . They really didn’t do anything but add some selfie stuff and more google assistants answering my phone which is cool that should kill some spam and robo calls. Over all just wasn’t impressed and their sales pitch did nothing to say this is why this phone is better than iPhone, and Galaxy S devices.
