Wanted to hear inputs about why you chose one over the other because base option on storage is only 100.00 difference

P3 has enough improvements for me to stick with the smaller one. Last years P2 had a 2700 mAh battery and a 5 in. Display. The P3 has 2900+ battery and a 5.5 in. display (w/o notch). For me 5.5 could work

I prefer smaller phones for one handed use. Prior to the Pixel line coming out, I used a Nexus 6p because it had advantages over the 5x, but I constantly had to shift the phone in my hand to reach the areas I needed to reach. I don't really have that issue with the smaller Pixel models. However I do wonder if the Pixel 3, due to it's elongated screen will give me issues in that regard. Just have to wait and see.

So you ordered the regular pix 3?

I am debating if I want to get one. My daily driver currently is an iPhone XS and I love the size and optimization. I thoroughly enjoyed my original Pixel. I think the 5.5” screen on the P3 is about perfect. I prefer 5.5”-6.0”. Anything less, or more, is not my cup of tea. Therefore, if I do get one it will be the P3 instead of the P3XL.

This will be my 3rd regular sized Pixel. I prefer that size because they are more pocketable. The way my tech is set up, I only use phones for “on the move” information and communication. More than that and I’m on a tablet or laptop.

I have a pixel 2 and am not sure if I want to pay more for a minor upgrade. If I heard correctly I should be getting many of the upgrades via software updates.

Same here.

Bixby on my S8+ I don't like, and not being able to delete carrier and Samsung apps I do not want.
I tried but a pixel 2XL out from Best Buy.
I liked the Pixel phone.
So I ordered the pixel 3 XL 64 gb .

Easier to one hand text while driv...... - oh, never mind, Honestly, just ease of handling

Yup, black 128GB through Verizon so should get a Pixel Stand as well. I originally ordered it through Google, later called to ask about the $50 credit Mike got and the rep accidentally deleted my Pixel order. Before that I was supposed to have a ship date of October 25th, and this happened 2 hrs later. So figuring my new ship date would probably be in November and Verizon's ship dates were the 18th, I went with them.

Nice ...

For me, I've always preferred phones that I can use one handed. With the XLs, I can't do that. The Pixel 3 has quite a bit more screen real estate than the Pixel 2 and stays that same size so that's a win for me.
