Today's bike ride to Smith Cove Park just north of downtown Seattle. Mt Rainier soars 14,410 (4,400 meters) feet above sea level.

Lunch. My contractor smoked his own bacon, both regular and Canadian. Excellent.

That is so scenic. I love it. Thank you so much for posting.

You are welcome. I've always loved the water side bike rides here. I just don't stop often enough to take pictures and the camera is tucked away inside my panniers. I don't trust it in my back pocket.

My evening walk on the Jurassic Coast

My favourite business tool is my Pixel 3 XL and this is my first post here. I am an avid photographer (Fuji) but since getting this phone I am less likely to take my camera unless its a specific thing. And many of my photos that I use for my Facebook page etc come from my excellent phone.
Here is one I took just a few weeks ago talking am evening walk on the Jurassic Coast. I hope you like it.

Welcome to Android Central! Nice shot.:) I agree, having a phone camera as good as the Pixel's makes it that much easier to travel -- no need to lug a big bulky camera around in my luggage or when sightseeing. Now, if I could only travel again soon!:'(

Took a quick weekend trip to Monterey and Pacific Grove. Some of these were taken with the help of my Moment 2nd gen 58 mm telephoto lens.

Great shots. I don't seem to have much luck with "macro" shots. Maybe my hands are not steady enough or there's a slight breeze or my pixel3 is not up to snuff. You've posted other really good closeups.

But you like the tele lens? It needs a special case?

Thanks! One of the only things I wish my Pixel 3 XL camera had was a shorter focal length -- I remember on my old Zenfone 2, I could get a lot closer with the camera and it would still focus. So the main thing I have to remember is to pay attention when the camera app is telling me to back up a bit to get better focus. Then I'll crop a bit if I want the photo to really concentrate on the central object.

The tele lens is pretty nice in that it lets me extend the Super Res zoom even further. But realistically, for less extreme zoom, Super Res does virtually the same quality as the tele lens. No special case needed -- I carry it around in a soft bag, and when I'm out and about, just have it in a pocket.

If I had to do it again, I'd probably go for the wide angle.

Amazing photos!

Which ones did you use the moment lens on? Been thinking of getting those for the longest time.

Thanks! The lens was used on the photos of the harbor seal, the damselfly, the squirrel, and the seagull. TBH, I can't remember if I used them on the flowers -- I wish there was some easy way to flag which photos were taken with the lens!

The nice thing about Moment is that they've committed to continued support for each Pixel model (with a case for each), so if you have a lens, you know you'll be able to use it with future Pixel models.
