Phenomenal photos! Love the spider web!

I almost missed it. I was dragging the clean green bin up the stairs just below it and did not even notice it. Could have dragged my head through it (g)

It was really striking but I had to align it with a darker background for it to show.

Okay, I have to try deciding if I want Google's help. Just because it backs up or archives my photos does not mean I necessarily want it sharing (I think I have that turned off now) or EDITING my photos.

Here's a panorama it compiled and it offered me and I accepted. I just had to search it out to find it.

Whoops!!! I guess I did not know where to look. Here's the pan it created and you can see the glitch in it.PXL_20201201_165908818-PANO(1).jpg

LOL I was wondering! That looks awesome.

Well, Puget Sound is the result of earthquake fault lines and in an enlargement you can see a real fault! (g)

Pan Glitch.jpg

But I do like the idea of merging them for a pan. I just need to find appropriate merging software.

Let's see how this one does...

Beautiful photos! How serene!

It was an absolutely beautiful morning.

Today was another astounding day and I biked through that park (Discovery Park) and then down through our linear park along the waterfront (Myrtle Edwards) to downtown Seattle and then up to Seattle Center (Space Needle) and then home.

Then you can see Post 1334 which repeated today's ride. It really does not get boring on days like this.

I just turned these two images into a panorama

Thanks for appreciating them. I've always thought of Seattle as a smaller version of San Francisco due to the hills and surrounding water. But we do have more mountain views. Also similar to Vancouver, BC, perhaps.

It was too nice. I had to do the bike ride again (g)

I did an experiment. I took two images and consolidated them into a panorama. Then I used Magix to pan across the image creating a short video.

And some additional shots along the way. The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) Sculpture Park along the water front. The Sculpture Park is bisected by the BNRR tracks serving downtown and up and down the coast. Calder Eagle.

My bike route takes me to Seattle Center but I skip the Needle and take a more direct route home.

I just found this aerial view of the park and the grain silo system: Louis Dreyfus Grain Elevator. I also discovered this fact which I did not know: "City of Seattle allowed this grain terminal to be built (it blocks views) in exchange for the railroad's ceding some shoreline to the city for construction of nearby Myrtle Edwards Park"

Sorry, no water today. Well, there is some but it is on the streets. And yesterday was a gray bike ride. Today's task :D

Some shots from our vacation to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Snow made it a challenge to get here due to road closures and forced an unexpected overnight stay prior to arrival, but some beautiful views along the way!
