Today's hike to Little Si. It is just off I-90 in the Washington Cascades. It is one of the first peaks you see heading east out of Seattle.

Great shoots! Looks like a gorgeous spot!

It is a relatively short hike, just over 4 miles round trip with a gain of 1,300 feet. It is one of the foothill peaks associated with Mt Si its bigger sibling which is about 8 miles rt and over 3,000 feet of gain. It seems steep because a lot of the hike has longer level sections.

Hard to pick it out against the background:

Further plum processing... Cut and remove pit. Freeze on large tray. Bag frozen plums and vacuum seal. Ready for further use whenever.

Moody Olympic Mountains on yesterday's bike ride. And a birthday (not mine - mine is later this month) outing to La Conner and its waterfront and Museum of NW Art (MONA). The main exhibition is by a local Native American glass artist. But he also wove and braided cedar bark to create the ropes and net. The glass "rocks" are modeled after the stones that they would bore holes in to keep the nets anchored. The feather is glass. (and I might come back and correct the orientation of some of the photos!!!)

I like the oddball moire pattern in the decking. Actually, those were only round holes in the deck.

Wow, fantastic sunset!

I guess my friends are use to it. I was facing away from the window/deck but saw its reflection in another window. I commented that I seem to be missing an incredible sunset. They said, "Oh, yeah!" I turned around and then went out on the deck. It was quite amazing. And the colors kept changing - more and more outrageous.

Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains (National Park).

It was a nice precursor to today - My Birthday. And a whooping big one, too!!!!

I guess the older the phone the less photos are taken with it. Here's my risky outing to the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). First indoor outing with all those strangers!!!! I did not take the bus but drove.

I even got the tree orientation correct before posting (I deleted the original line) but it still posted it. And I missed the portrait and the rat!!!

Two slightly older images. They are panoramas that Google offered me yesterday of images taken earlier in the week. Between Google Photos and Alexa, I have less and less to do personally! :D
