No I don't - didn't know that was an option - I'm not all that bright.
Just tired it - takes me to lock screen

You might actually have to enable it in settings. Just figured you could save space on the home screen.

Yup, it's under Gestures setting. Jump to camera needs to be turned on.

Appreciate the thought - I hold the phone in left hand and and press icon with right forefinger - so far it works for me - BUT - will check out your idea.

i love the double tap camera features. Makes taking picture so much easier especially if you need to access the camera fast for a quick shot.

Awesome feature. Loved that w/ my Pixel 2 XL. Just double click lock button and snap away.

The double tap feature is great. Although I also keep the camera icon in my tray. There are times I use it for depending on what I am doing with the phone. Or if I want quick access to all photos.

I use Nova. It may depend on what you want to do, but for me it works fine.
