When I go to sleep, I put on DND.

I allow calls from starred contacts and repeat callers.
'
I have duration set "until you turn off". But - in the morning, it's off. Anyone else experience this or have any ideas?

I use DND every night. My sleep patterns constantly vary so I pull down the Pixel shade and I tap the DND button when I want it and it turns "blue". In the morning I tap the "blue" DND button again and it turns "white" again. That's how it works for me and it's never failed to work.

I also use the DND button when I'm listening to music on my Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones and don't want my music interrupted.

This is strange. As far as I know, there is no ability to schedule on/off time so I've been doing it manually. Haven't noticed auto shut off though.

For DND? You can do it automatically using variety of rules (Scheduled time, events, driving and many other). See screenshots below. (See Turn on automatically in Do Not Disturb settings)

Do you an alarm set? If you have a DND schedule there is an option to turn off DND when alarm rings. Guessing that or some other setting like that is probably turning it off in the morning. If not can you post screenshot of your DoNot disturb settings page and we can see if anything looks suspicious that may be causing this.

You can't schedule it? I have it set for weeknight and weekend hours on my Pixel 2. Seems like it would be the same on the Pixel 3.

I have mine scheduled. Comes on at 10pm and turns off at 5:30am. go to schedule and you can create the rules there in turn on automatically.

What I mean is setting specific times like 10:30 to 6:40 or 11:00 to 7:00. I can do it on the Note 9. I'll keep looking in case I missed something.

Yes you can do that, see in attached screenshot. For example I have it set for 11 PM to 7.30 am every day. You can set any kind of custom rule you want.
