Anyone tried the new Google Sounds app yet? Sounds like it comes with December security patches (which I still don't have).

I must be missing something here .

So I got the update last night for my 3XL . I keep reading about Google sound being updated . https://www.androidcentral.com/google-sounds-brings-pixel-ringtone-and-visuals-other-android-phones . Um when I go to settings / sound Mine looks like it did before the update nothing like this and doesn't have a bunch of categories . If I go to Google play it shows that I have Sounds on my phone ....... Where . If I go to the app drawer its not there . Anyone ?????

Mine's the same as well (2 XL), despite getting the update. I suspect it was a preparatory update, and they just haven't rolled it out yet. Or they announced it prematurely.

I have the Sounds app - but I see no difference in the sound options.

I could be wrong, but the blog post read to me as the "Sounds App" from the Pixel now being available for download in the Play Store for other Android phones to download.
That's just me, I didn't see anything different on my Pixel 3 either.

This morning I was doing sounds and was given a choice between the new Google Sound and Zedge. Somehow I lost it and just get Zedge now. I uninstalled Zedge and still don't get the new sounds.
