I dont think Google will put more then 2 devices a year my opinion.
I'd like them to keep their focus on the 2 main devices they have in their lineup, as well. Introducing a 3rd, at this point at least, seems too soon.

It's all subjective, anyway it's widely regarded that Pixel 3 is the best camera for photos by many experts, tech bloggers and even from my experience it's better than Xs Max or anything Samsung puts out. These scores don't change a thingThere is no way the Pixel 3 is scored the same as the iPhone XR. I had the iPhone XR and the pictures were nowhere near the amazing quality of the Pixel 3 XL. DxOMark has jump the shark, it seems. Let's make them not a thing anymore.

DXOMark is supposed to be independent
...but they're not. They also consult with certain manufacturers to help them get better camera scores. See the video I posted above.
it is a piece of information that can be used in a making a decision
...but it's a piece of nonsense information. It's the same as/no different than fake news posted on Facebook or Twitter.

Everybody's experience is different. In my personal experience with lots of these flagship phones, Pixel easily excels every other flagship in capturing light, depth and objects effectively in not so bright (not using low here) light conditions and excels in low light conditions. Pixel also does not stutter or lose focus when you use Portrait mode in those conditions. You really don't need to be an expert to determine this - just capture and you will see the result right away.So far in my brief experience with the Pixel 3 the best picture I've taken with it is nowhere near as good as the best picture I've taken with my S8+. When I have some time and inclination I'll try some side by side comparisons.
I have the S9+ and Xs Max along with Pixel 3 XL. And S9+ is the least preferred for me over Pixel 3 XL and Xs Max in terms of camera. Had the S8+ last year as well and overall not close to Pixel 3 or many other recent phones in my experience and opinion. Obviously it's all subjective and everyone got to use what works for them.So far in my brief experience with the Pixel 3 the best picture I've taken with it is nowhere near as good as the best picture I've taken with my S8+. I think it is an excellent score considering that it does not consider the night sight mode. I know some of you kept saying the Pixel 3 is better than iPhone XS or Samsung Note 9 on low night, but I think you need to use night sight mode.
On DXOMARK: "It is important to note that we test all smartphones using only their default settings, so we did not consider the image results from the Pixel 3’s Night Sight mode in our DxOMark scores."
Even with default settings Pixel blows away, say the freaking iPhone XR/MAX in not so bright or low light conditions!I think it is an excellent score considering that it does not consider the night sight mode.
