    I updated my phone last week and although the call quality has slightly improved, it isn't nearly what it should be. I can barely use loudspeaker but it's fine when I don't have it on loudspeaker.

    Is anyone else still having this problems?

    That sounds more like a hardware problem than a firmware problem. The phone is still under warranty, so contact Google. (Be nice to the customer service rep - s/he didn't cause the problem.)

    can also go in phone dialer app use code
    *#0*# check you speaker , I forget somewhere I heard it mentioned and speaker started working again.

    Yep. It's very sporadic and frustrating. Doesn't matter if I'm on speaker or not. Wifi or straight cell. Not sure what to do next.

    I've been having this problem too. Been through support chat 3 times to reset various settings, problem still persists.

    What do you experience? I had where people can't here me...there was a tinny sound etc.

    when I chatted with customer support...they had me send a report but you can't mimic the problem...I haven't heard from them. Since it's under warranty I should get a replacement.

    Maybe try talking to another agent or supervisor get it resolved.

    I would try again but this time say you want to talk now to a supervisor , that your very disappointed in customer service they giving.

    I cleared the caller app cache and I'm going to test it. TBH since I got the Note I hardly use it.

    Hi all, I'v posted this issue on multiple platforms. Unfortunatley I purchased the pixel 3 for my wife for xmas. It is a great camera...but the worst phone ever. She can not make a single call without a drop out or voice failure of some desciption. google is completely silent on this, which is crazy frustrating.
    I'm using my old samsung in same locations and networks (melb Aust) with zero issue. Why release a phone that cant do it's primary function...which is to call people!

    Well since not everyone is having that experience it's an isolated issue that only impacts certain units just like any other brand. My suggestion would be to contact Google or whichever retailer it was purchased from for an exchange.

    Have you checked the signal strength using your phone's tools? You might have a weak signal where you're at. Or as others mentioned, your phone might be shot.
