Okay, so for Android Q, does Google Assistant on the phone or through Android Auto not work when sending or receiving text messages?

On my phone, it works like a charm. My 1998 Nissan doesn't do Android Auto.

I just sent a text message via Google Assistant.
"Text Message."
"Who is the message to?"
"Harvey Wallbanger"
"What is the message?"
I dictate the text of the message and say, "comma" and "period" and then,
"Do you want to send it?"
I am seriously no good at typing with my thumbs.

Mhmmmmmm interesting, I'm definitely going to have to keep in trying that out.

Try Firefox Focus, that works for me

After several freezes I had to go back to Pie. I would have stuck with Q if this was a secondary phone.

Yes I'm so sorry to hear that you've had such freezing issues! My personal exam was Android Q is perfect! but yet you might have had to roll back to a prior version of pie just have a consistent running daily driver !!

Yeah, I thought it was just my phone but I've seen others mention freezing issues here. I might try again when the next beta update comes out.

I'm also no longer seeing "now playing" on the lock screen. But when I go into history, it is registering songs it's heard.
