I use the Android Auto when driving and I was wondering if there is way to get it to prompt you to read any new incoming text messages while driving. It currently shows up on the screen that I have a text meassge but it doesn't ask me if I want it read out aloud. The reason I ask is I used to be a Windows phone guy and Cortana would notify me of any incoming text meassages and ask me if I wanted to hear it or ignore. Any help of guidance would be appreciated. Thanks...

All you have to do is scroll on the screen to the incoming texts and click on them. They will be read outloud and then you have the option to respond to them.

Yeah, get that. It is just that with the Windows Mobile system it would automatically prompt me if I wanted it read aloud without even touching the phone. I know it was a different system, but I was hoping that the Android had an option like that that I am just unaware of right now...

I don't know if it will prompt you other than the notification. However, I've missed a notification before and have asked Google Assistant to read my messages.
