Why is my Pixel 3XL missing night sight and time lapse

I got a new pixel 3xl and have noticed that the camera is missing some functions that my friends have, mainly the night sight and time laps. When I go to the more tab it only has photo sphere, slow motion, lens, and settings.

It's fairly common for new phones or laptops to need updating. They come from the factory with outdated versions.

It would be helpful if you listed the version number of the Camera application. Mine is 6.2.030.244457635 and it has the options that you're looking for.

I'd say uninstall the updates by uninstalling it like any other app then reinstall/update from the play store I bet that will resolve the issue.

This is really weird, because wasn't Night Sight supposed to be a native feature of the Pixel 3? Are you absolutely sure you don't have a 2 XL? (The notch would be the biggest giveaway, of course.)

When the phone was first launched the pixel 3 it didn't have it until later , unless the person got a phone from launch and hadn't update it lol what are those chances
Pixel 2xl has this feature for awhile now also .
