    You're running Android 10, right? When I swipe down, it gives me an estimate of how much more time my battery will last (rather than what time it will run out).

    And now it does actually say "Until 8:45 PM," whereas before, it said something like "1 day, 4 hours." I'm guessing that once the estimated battery life drops below 1 day, it will switch to telling you at what time the battery should last to.

    None that I have seen. When charging it shows the percentage. When off charge it gives you the estimated time. I don't think you can remove batter stats from the status bar without root.
    Is there any option in the battery settings to remove it from the status bar?

    You can remove the percentage from the status bar, it seems the estimated depletion time remains in the notification shade.
