Someone over at XDA enhanced a port from the new camera and published an APK (sideloadable) that empowers the Pixel 4 to go all the way out to 50x zoom with SuperRes.

I sideloaded it on my Pixel 3 XL and it works pretty well - just not out that far. In the settings you can adjust 'max zoom' to default/16x/25x/35x/50x. With the Pixel 3 XL, you can 'pinch out' to 15.9x zoom and it does a better job than would be had by taking a photo with the stock app and then zooming & cropping. Once you hit 16x or beyond, he screen just goes black. Overall, pretty impressive. Also integrates the other newer features, and a few extra controls.

Yeah man I mean super res zoom is cool but I don't really have a need for. Besides when you start really zoomy in HDR has to work extra hard and you lose a lot of the detail in the zoom unfortunately.
That's what was good about Huawei zoom you didn't lose details

okay, so this is just weird. , Google camera v 7.2. If you leave the HDR plus on, and I take a picture of the green turf at my gym, It looks grey. However, if you turn off HDR completely it's normal. But every other green surface and situation that I take a picture of with HDR mode completely turned on end and hands, is fine. It's just really weird!
