    I'd like to be able to quickly tap on a photo or two that I STICK on a homepage and quickly open them in a photo app. Is this possible?

    Most third party file managers include that option. I use Solid but I'm almost sure that Total Commander or FX should have it.

    Yep, Total Commander can definitely do that.
