Where is voice mail icon?

Just received my Pixel 4 XL and cannot find the app for my voice mail. Can someone share what it looks like? All I have is an option for using visual voice mail, which is different than the standard voice mail. I'm on Verizon.

There is no separate app anymore. It's a tab within the phone app.

I don't have a tab for it. The only 3 menu options at the bottom of the phone screen are Favorites, Recents and Contacts.

Yeah they might have their own but not visual in the dialer ..i think my att sim doesn't have that either but my tmobile sim does

On every Verizon smart phone I've had the past few years there was a Verizon Voicemail app. But it's not available for Pixel phones. It's incorporated into the Phone app, with options to setup and enable Visual Voicemail

Carrier model. I didn't think about that, it might be different on an Unlocked model on Verizon.

I had it in a 3XL Unlocked but I don't remember if it was exactly like yours

Sorry if I jumped the gun assuming every Pixel on Verizon has the Voicemail tab. I'm so used to Moto phones and Verizon Droid phone models the past 12 years I tend to forget all the Unlocked models and their differences.

On my Verizon Pixel it was there right from the beginning and displayed every old saved voicemail I had. Is your Pixel a Verizon model or an unlocked model?

Yep.

Visual voice mail is different than basic voice mail. There is a charge for that service.

It is an unlocked model from Google.
