Using your Pixel 4 & 4 XL with no case (naked)?

The green is nice. And the new cases are washable. If you can find one on sale it might be worth trying. My wife used hers every day for 9 months on her Pixel 3a and it wasn't very dirty. I have read the same comments, but a lot depends on your job, how dirty your hands get each day, etc.

Yeah, I mean I hear you! I'm not even so worried about the fabric case too too much. It's really the fact that it's 30 to 40 bucks and it's not clear. I bought a sage green phone which means I want to see it if I do put a case on it you know what I mean? but definitely if it's on sale it's a better deal for the fabric Google cases! Thank you very much for the suggestion!

Don't get me wrong it's not like super slippery but it's not grippy either. I still think it's a decent case and it was fine for me for the previous 3 pixels and they were protected just fine.

They're definitely slippery. I had it with my P2 which was ok because the phone was small, but I'm definitely not getting it for my 4 XL because the phone is huge and such a slippery case would make it unmanageable one-handed.

I'm using a pitakka case, pretty thin but looks really nice and I like thin cases.

Yeah looks really good. I'm with you I prefer a super thin case any day do the week vs a case that adds even a slight bulk. Especially as long as I get more protection than naked but still maintaining a thin profile. Thanks for sharing.

It’s an awesome case. Goes perfectly with the mag mount although a bit pricey.

I use the case with an inexpensive Spigen magnetic mount from Amazon and it works great with that, too.

I slapped a case on mine as fast as possible. I did want to try the phone naked but every phone I've owned are still in pristine condition.

So..

I decided to get a Dbrand skin at least and try that. I really liked using it with just the skin and beings I take great care of my phone's I went naked for a couple of weeks or so but the screen side is still so slippery it kept slipping down the side of my couch.

Well.. one time it did that I noticed a little paint missing on the corner edge (not the glass).

Back in the case it went.

Damn! Even though I'm probably the only one that will ever notice it, to me, it's no longer pristine.

Before someone asks..

Red carbon fiber with black around the camera in a thin clear case.

Mostly go without a case at home. Just Dbrand skin for back and camera. Put the Otterbox symmetry case on when I'm going out.

Been rocking my devices naked forever.

Through no fault of my own, the back plate of my Pixel 4 XL is coming off near the top. Again. This is my second 4 XL. It happened the first time late 2019 and Google sent me a refurbished replacement. Doubt they'll do it again.

Google hardware and quality control need to be better, but this is old news.
