Why can't I get these two apps to update?

I've hit update and nothing. I've turned off my phone and back on

Any ideas?

I've encountered the same thing on my pixel 3 recently. It eventually updated, don't recall doing anything special besides rebooting a couple of times I think.

Clear cache and force stop.play store , then update l android web view then Chrome
