I'm also glad the battery is getting bumped up to 3700 milliamps.

Glad for a bump. But this is still a ridiculously small battery for a phone of the XL size. I don’t know how in late 2019 Google can release a phone this large, with this small of a battery.

Look at the note 10 it's only got a 3500 Mah battery .

I need to step into a T-Mobile and try out a OP7 PRO. I really wonder what using that display feels/looks like at that refresh rate.

100% this. Google seem hell bent on proving they can match performance of rivals with smaller batteries and lower ram. Either that they're just cheaping out. Big battery with superfast and wireless charging should be right up there in the priorities list

Can someone explain what the 90hrz difference is, why its important, and will I notice it with my naked eye?

It just makes everything so much smoother. Scrolling, gaming etc. If you've never used it you'll never miss it. Once you use it you'll definitely notice going back to 60hz and you'll think it feels laggy even though it's not really.
