Anyone really disappointed the base model is 64gb storage?

This is so unacceptable and it doesn't even seem to be fast storage either. I have Note 10+ and the base model is 256GB fast storage.

How much more would have cost Google to make that 128gb base? For the love of GOD. so annoying.

No, I'm glad there is a cheaper 64gb option. I'm currently using 34% of the 64gb on my p2xl.
Cheaper? It won't be cheap. I think you misunderstood. They are already charging a leg and an arm for the phone, should have been 128gb for the same price they are charging for 64gb.

Yes, the 64gb will be cheaper than 128, probably by $100. So I'm glad that option exists. Not everyone needs a lot of storage.
As far as either storage capacity not being cheap...true. That's why I plan to wait a bit for the price to drop.

Yes the base model should be 128 GB and not 64 GB. And to those saying glad there is 64 GB, we are not saying it should be expensive. They should provide minimum 128 GB for the price they will be charging (which will be expensive) and the next bump for $100 should be 256 GB.

I hear you.. They did that from OG Pixel at 32gb to the Pixel 2 at 64gb with no price increase. If they did something like that again, I'd be okay with that. They can put a TB in there, if that's the case. I just don't want to pay for a storage increase.:p

The more expensive Apple iphone 11 pro is also coming with 64gb entry level storage. Maybe Google and Apple are in a position to know what the average user's storage demands are and maybe 64gb is plenty for most people buying these devices.

My suggestion - stick with your Note 10+, which is an awesome phone, and remember the old saying, if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing.

It's paltry especially as these are renowned for lacking expandable storage. It's really unfortunate. I was thrilled, four years ago, to get an LG V10 with 64 gigs of native storage and that device had a micro SD card slot. LG sweetened the deal with a spare battery and a 200GB micro SD card. Though I only use the device as a media player now it's still in excellent working condition. I'm over the moon for the Note10 Plus and its storage options.

I am. Love the Note 10+. Had pixel 3xl before and the 64gb was annoying. Especially for what Google will be charging. Make base 128gb. It's we are 2 months away from 2020 for crying out loud.

Just out of curiosity, why not stay in the Note 10 forum and sing the praises of that phone, instead of coming here and complaining about a phone you don't even own. I don't understand this at all, I just don't.

I'm not trying to start an argument, just trying to understand your thought process.

I have a 64 GB 3 XL, and the most I've filled it is about 50%. I use Google Drive, Google Photos, and Google Play Music to save/sync all of my stuff, so I've never really needed huge amounts of internal storage. My previous 2 XL was 128 GB, and it was almost embarrassing that it was never more than about 20-30% full.

64GB isn't "cheaper" they are just sticking small storage at a premium price and you pay for it. Doesn't even matter if people use it or not.

I really don't understand. Google made it with 64GB. Apple made new iPhone with 64GB. If I think it is not sufficient for my needs, I don't buy it. So simple! I really don't understand what's the point in threads like this. I'm really glad we have options for everybody.

I personally would get the 128 and be done. Such as with my iPhone I went 256 since that was the next. For me I want more then the 64 -- but I know that majority of users can't fill 64 or won't. Not from their day to day use.
