Thinking about switching from note 10+ to pixel xl4 plz help

Don't know what to do it's on sale at tmobile for $499 love the note but dropped it and had to get a replacement and it doesn't feel the same plus made me think this phone is to brittle and I like to use my phone without a case is that a bad move?

That's a hard thing for any of us to help with. I'd never give my Note10+ up for a Pixel, but I'm sure there are plenty of users on here that wouldn't give their Pixel up for a Note.
Even some of the past arguments aren't as relevant as they used to be. Security updates have been coming fast for the Note 10+. Sometimes even before the Pixels get them. One thing we can't answer is if that'll continue or not.
The camera used to be another strong selling point for the Pixel. Especially when it comes to lowlight. I don't particularly care for how most night shots come out on the Pixel. For me they just look off.
You'll have to ask yourself how many Samsung specific features you use, and if you'll miss them if you go to the Pixel. And also you'll have to ask yourself if there are any Pixel only features you'd rather have over things like the S-Pen.

I personally feel the Note 10+ is better build wise compared to Pixel 4... don't think of the phone as brittle at all.. any phone if you drop it will take a hit ... For me I tried the Pixel and loved plenty of things but the Note is superior to me ... Updates have been coming timely ... I don't see this phone struggle doing any tasks .. I didn't find the Pixel with 90Hz faster or snappier... Thats me though ... At that price I would try it and decide yourself ... You won't lose money on it if you trade in down the road or sell ...

The Samsung Note series has always been spectacular. The very best of what Samsung could offer. But I think that the Pixel 4XL is just the tops. It's truly a joy to you and just makes a lot of sense. I used to own all of the Note devices up until the Note 8. That was my last Note smartphone. Reality of it is, the spen is nice. But it is unnecessary for me. There really wasn't anything the spen did that was more efficient or convenient than just typing or using my fingers. I say go for the Pixel 4 XL.

Ironically I am in the same boat as you. I am actually not that impressed with the Note10+ camera anymore and I'd like to try out the T-Mobile pixel also. My only concern is they are only offering 64GB and the phone has no SD card slot. T-Mobile has a 14 day return policy so I am going to swing by and pick one up and give it a shot for a week. If I like the phone I will sell the Note. The Pixel still has the best camera (S20 Ultra might knock that out) and the screen and speakers sound to be very good also.

I have the pixel 4 xl and i had a note 10+ i used both for awhile and i was in love with the note but i always found myself going back to the pixel after a day or two. The note 10+ is a great phone but the pixel experience is just so much better. I ended up selling the note. U won't be disappointed

I hate to say it because I'm a Samsung fan, but their screens are overrated.

I have a Pixel 4XL and a S10+. I love them both for different reasons. I only use a dbrand skin on my Pixel 4XL and a full LED case on my Samsung. It feels more fragile. I have just forked out £55 for Whitestone Dome screen protectors for the S10+ and I am not using one on the Pixel at all. The Pixel takes better photos but the videos are better on Samsung. It is swings and roundabouts. I love both phones so much. Luckily I have 2 SIM cards so I use 2 phones and have the best of both worlds.

WOW! I ended up going ahead and getting the pixel XL 4 and keeping my note 10+ and so far wow it's a great phone I'm diffently impressed!! I think my note may get a long over due vacation!

The size the screen. and everything just works faster no bloat wear.. I like you my phone's without cases the note feel slippery and finger prints are really bad. And just a better feel in the hand.

I sold my S20 and went back to the Pixel 4XL...I literally cannot stand Samsung’s gesture implementation and skin on top of Android. It’s just always feeling janky. Nothing is as smooth and cohesive as the Pixel line, so I am fooling myself if I think the shiny new hardware (S20 is spectacular hardware) will sway me from top notch software. So I keep making the same mistake and keep ending up with the same conclusion. I’m a Pixel fanboy. LOL.

I've been using this one and it's taken some good falls with no damage. Makes it a lot easier to hold too.
