March update Features

Nice. I hear it also greatly improves motion sense. It hardly ever works for me. It has been the biggest Pixel bust feature so far. I'm surprised the nearby share isn't one of the features. In the demos it looks like it was ready for primetime.

One good thing is, first Monday of the month is tomorrow. Get ready for your Pixels to get updates

Those complaining about gradual roll outs, just sideload if you can't wait. Yes it's ideal if you get OTA but at least Pixels provide the ability to sideload immediately across all variants unlike OEMs who have million carrier firmwares. Atleast don't have to hear about some OEM released March update for some variant somewhere in the world and people act as if the update went to every version in the world and how they haven't got update to Pixel

My motion sense worked really great for the first 2 months and I used it a ton when playing music. However, the last few weeks it hasn't worked at all. Wondering if there Feb update nerfed it a bit. Hoping it goes back to the way it used to work.

Skipping music tracks now works well for me. Took a while to get used to it. Keeping the phone unlocked while I'm looking at it is also a very useful feature. Face unlock works perfectly and as quick as the fingerprint did.

Downloading OTA, Google store unlocked on Verizon

Google Pixel 4 on Google Fi - keeps checking for updates and telling me phone is up to date - same issue last moth - have d/l OTA file and will side load - same as last month.

ETA - AMD desktop will not read d/l file - Intel machine will - just like last month - Hmmmm?

Yeah on Verizon most of the time OTA will be available immediately. Others not so much especially on T-Mobile I used to always side load.

Especially love the pressing the power button to bring up all the cards in the wallet etc. Works great.

Dark theme scheduling was long overdue, glad it's now added.

Motion sense improvements, don't use them much but may be I'll give another shot.

Rules feature is nice, need to play around.

And finally yes device feels more snappier after update /s

Looks like rules not much you can do, for a particular location or WiFi you can do the following 4 things.
