This was taken with my Pixel 4a with Night Sight setting.

I just realized that there's no photos sticky for the Pixel 4a forum, so might as well make this the sticky! Hope you don't mind, I changed the thread title to reflect that ...

That's a great pic, BTW! I'm curious -- did you also take a shot without Night Sight, and if so, did that come out much less orange/pink? I've noticed that most phones (including Pixels and iPhones) tend not to be able to capture this kind of hue in the sky, at least with standard settings -- this was most apparent during the recent California wildfires, when skies over the Bay Area become apocalyptically red/orange, but most phone pics didn't show it that way.

Another example -- on Christmas morning, the sunrise was brilliantly orange, but it just couldn't be captured on my Pixel 3 XL in standard mode:

I wonder if it would've looked more true-to-life if I used Night Sight instead, like you did?

Here are a couple of photos of a house that I took on my 4a while out checking out the Christmas lights last week. First one is without Night Sight, second one is. It was pretty bright to begin with so night sight didn't really make a HUGE difference. I do still love the Pixel camera though. My 4a is the replacement to my poor Pixel XL.PXL_20201225_232351626.jpgPXL_20201225_232339829.NIGHT.jpg

A tree in my backyard after an ice storm. Because it is such a dreary New Year's day it almost looks like a b/w photo.

Oh where to start? Got my youngest a telescope for Christmas since he's really into astronomy. The Chicago winter weather finally cooperates enough to use it! The pic of the moon was taken through the telescope with the 4a. The one of my son looking through it was with Night Sight.

The rest are from my recent trip to Florida. One of Paul Bedard from the Animal Planet show Gator Boys...he was super nice to talk to.

And one of the red Mustang convertible I got to drive for 10 days. It was really hard but I managed.
