Disappointed because the Pixel did better?

I didn't think it did better, only in that one low light selfie did it do better unless I'm blind the colors on the OnePlus looked more vibrant/richer and it had better HDR in the sky

Just reading the results under each picture the editor said the Pixel 5 did better most of the time. I suppose it's always subjective.

I guess, I didn't read the editor's notes to be honest, just quickly checked each pic and other than that one low light selfie pic, to my eyes the OnePlus looked better.

I checked a few videos and that compared Pixel 5 to 8T and also S20 FE.. They all have some strong points... I feel the FE and 5 are closer than many think.. Either way it's subjective for sure...

Maybe because it lacks the neural chip HDR suffered a little

The only one where I didn't think the Pixel 5 did better were the 2 at night of the skyline. Every other one, I thought the Pixel did way better than the 8T.

Agreed, the Pixel "won" a lot more comparisons than the 8t pro

I would have bought the Pixel 5 over the 8T if it were $100 cheaper. There is a $50 dollar difference between the Pixel 5 and the 8T, where you get a better processor, way faster charging, bigger battery, similar update length and slightly more feature rich OS with the 8T. What was Google thinking

Alot of OP photos have always had a yellowish/orange hue. Although it's improved with the 8 models, you can still see it. Especially in the early example photos. Regardless, a really good shooter

Nope, I just checked, I am not subscribed to this thread and the option for thread subscription mode is just like yours. There seems to be a bug in the forum.

It's been like this since more than a year but I never bothered to report it but you being a moderator kinda reminded me to bring it to your attention.

I even enabled that setting then disabled it again just to make sure but I still got an email regarding your above quote.

If you open the email I circled the 3 dots it should give you option to block
