When I saw the 11/9 for Verizon I assumed that was for the Verizon model of the P5 but maybe it's for anyone who has a Verizon sim card in their phone. Because I've been mashing that Check for Update all day and nothing. So then I started thinking maybe I have to wait until 11/9 for them to enable their 5G in order to get the update.

Same here. I'm going to try again on the 9th and if I don't have it then, investigate some more why I don't have it.

Verizon update will release the week of the 9th, not guaranteed to be the 9th just some point next week
