USB cable not charging Pixel 5

I've had a USB cable on my motorcycle for about a year and a half. I used it to charge my Pixel 3xl whenever I rode.

The Pixel 5 will not charge with this cable. Did they change something that keeps it from working with this cable?

I have used three separate cables - USB to USB-C in my car, USB to USB-C combo home charger and USB-C to USB-C battery pack for hiking. All three have worked flawlessly. These are same cables I used on my Pixel 3xl.

Yeah exactly. Are they all working with your Pixel 5 also?

Yes, sorry if I wasn't clear. Same cables as before working perfectly on my new Pixel 5.

I've only used my pixel stand at night so far. The battery has been lasting too long to need to charge yet

Ok just tried my phone on my bike with multiple cables. I guess the one I had on there died
