HBO MAX on pixel 5

Anyone know how to fix the screen ratio for HBO max?

I can't get it to go full screen on my pixel 5.

Have you tried looking within your HBO app? Sometimes those in-app settings have what you are needing to find. Keep us posted on what happens!

mine changes depending on content, but still not full screen. it appears to be an issue as others are complaining also.

Unfortunately it seems to just be an issue as there are no settings to adjust this within the App. I've came across threads on other forums as well with no solution. Disappointing as I tend to watch a good amount of video on my phone, especially now considering how great the battery is on the Pixel 5.
