Re: Verizon

Just spoke with Verizon business, they are not offering at this time the Pixels or any upgrade promotion with the 6 or 6Pro, at this time. Still very difficult to communicate with Verizon, their customer service experience is like going to a dentist to have a tooth pulled... with no novicaine or nitrous.

I don't care. Will the unlocked version work with Verizon? I remember other phones having issues when unlocked.

I am in the same boat. Will the unlocked work on Verizon's 5g? There are 3 different models with different antenna set ups.

I think I read that Verizon and AT&T stores will offer a different version of the regular 6 that supports additional bands that aren't supported by the 6 sold on Google's store; same source indicated there was no difference in the 6 Pro whether unlocked from Google or bought in store. Apologies I don't recall where I read it, so recommend taking it with a precautionary grain of salt.

Re: Verizon

There is a 5G sub6GHz and a 5g mmWave + sub 6GHz. The latter has a denotation saying will be sold in AT&T and Verizon stores. Or you can order a Verizon version for $100 from Google Store.
After looking at a map, the only places I travel that have the 5g mmWave are NOLA proper and Houston proper. I guess the question is does the sub 6Hz on the unlocked model work with Verizon nationwide 5G?

Re: Verizon

The Tech Specs show two models for the Pro. GLUOG does not support 5G mmWave and G8VOU does.

FeliCa
Verizon wouldn't tell me what bands it runs on. The bottom model number has to be for the Asia market because of FeliCa. The other 2 phones have the exact same bands. This is for the Pixel 6 non pro model.

Re: Verizon

The Verizon version costs $135 more than the unlocked version since you don't get the free ear buds and have to pay $35 activation fee.
But I just ordered a Pro anyway.

This is why I'll never order a Google phone from Verizon. Unlocked from Google should work fine on Verizon. I don't care about 5g anyway.

Re: Verizon

Got a call back from one of the Verizon Business Managers, they are having trouble with the ordering system, the Pixel 6Pro is very popular out of the gate. They will call me back to complete the order and give me $700 in bill credits, for an upgrade, as well.
