Yup. Google is a trillion dollar company and they are too cheap to put a 50 cent charger in with the phone.
Not just them Samsung and Apple as well , to put a charger cable then leave the charger out is just wrong , leave the cable out also so i wont feel as bad lol . Now i have to purchase the charger so i can have their 30 or 35 watt version ...SMH

30W chargers are probably not 50 cents. Now, if they included the 30W google charger that would have been nice because probably not as many people have that fast of a charger already. I have a 25, 30 and 45 lying around so I won't be buying any additional.

I bought the 45w charger Google was selling a few years ago, will this give me the top charging speeds or is there some special hand-shaking that has to happen to get the fast charging speeds?

I'm not positive, but I think it depends on what the phone can take. I have the 45w Samsung Charger I got for free when I purchased the Note 20 ultra. I read that only that phone could use the full 45w's.

Having said that, I've used the 45w charger on other phones and it still seemed to charge those phone just as fast, even an Iphone. It even says super fast wireless charging when I use it on my S21 Ultra.

My 50 cent quote was just a guess. The materials and labor are dirt cheap. Made in China. Slave labor. Low overhead.

I intend to use the Pixel Stand I got several Pixels ago - on the stand at night - off in the morning - never failed me yet.

Have been looking at the new stands, they look more stable/solid than the older model. Will probably buy one when available.

I have this lovely GAN charger that goes up to 65W. Has QC 3.0 and Power delivery in 2 ports. Was cheap as well..

This is only £18 and is 30W. So may be a good alternative to the Google adapter for someone.

Amazon Basics 30W One-Port GaN USB-C Wall Charger for Tablets and Phones with Power Delivery - White (non-PPS) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B087S3H...ag=hawk-future-21&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6995992
