Which Phone Are Your Replacing With Your 6 or 6 Pro?

Just wondering what phone others are replacing. Mine is in bold below, but I've had a crazy past year leading up to this point.

Over the last 12 months, I've owned (reverse chronological):

Pixel 5a (returned after a week)
OnePlus Nord N10 5G (current, bought in Hawaii as vacation replacement)
Pixel 4a (drowned in Hawaii 4 months ago)
Galaxy S20 FE (sold earlier this year after first 6 Pro leaks)
Pixel 3a (water damaged charging port, repair too much $$)
Pixel 2 XL (owned since it launched, drowned in Hawaii last October)

I'm heading to Hawaii again a few days after my 6 Pro is due to be delivered. I plan to return with a dry and working Pixel this time. :D

Have a 5a I'll keep as a backup to the P6

Probably will unload this One Plus 8T (lousy battery life) if I can find a decent trade in offer. I think I can keep it dry 😂

I think you need to stop going to Hawaii!

I'm replacing my Pixel 4a with the P6 Pro.

I replaced s10e with pixel 5a, and replacing s21ultra with pixel 6.

Note 9 with Pixel 6 Pro

Not necessarily replacing, but currently have a S21U. ( Plus iPhone 13 for work ).

Will either return the P6P if it's not up to much or sell the S21U awaiting to see what the S22U brings. [emoji16]

That's EXACTLY my same position lol. I got the S21 ultra, the 13 pro max and I ordered the pixel 6. I'll test it for abit and will see if I keep it and sell the S21 ultra or return it and keep the Samsung.

Not replacing a phone, I'm keeping my S21 ultra.

As some others stated. Not replacing, but currently using flip 3 as my daily driver...

I was holding out for the pixel 6 pro, until the z flip 3 came out that is. Now I can't go back to a phone that doesn't fold in half and fit into the palm of my hand. The pro will be like going back to the s21 ultra or note 20 ultra. So that's a no go for me at the present time. But enjoy your pixel 6's.

My Pixel 2. I had hoped to do the 5, but could not justify it's cost.

My sparingly used S21U is on Swappa as I type!!

Google sent me an email saying they would give me $97 for my 3XL towards a pixel 6//Pro.... how do they know what phone I have, and how do they know I'm looking at getting a 6/6 Pro? Things that make you go hmmm...

Btw I'll be keeping my 3XL as a backup. I haven't decided which 6 I'm getting yet :eek:

Yep, 128 GB black 6 Pro! Supposed to come around Nov 2-3.

Still waiting for some camera reviews for the 6. But assuming I go ahead with it, will be replacing Note 10. I'm ready for a camera that doesn't blur so easily when taking pictures of my kids (indoors particularly).

I feel ashamed for having owned the 5A for such a short time but this will be the device I'm upgrading from. Google tempted me too much! The 5A is excellent on battery life (I get mostly 2 days out of it) and I'm hoping the regular 6 will also be the same. For me it's actually one of the most important factors. I'm waiting on reviews to be released where I can get confirmation of this.

I will be replacing my S21 Ultra. I really like Samsung phones, but the fact that you can only disable Facebook and not delete it bother me. It is a small thing, but it is enough for me to stop using Samsung phones for now.

4a 5G. I must say, I've missed waterproofing and wireless charging. And I am super looking forward to a high refresh display to see if I can tell a difference.

Pixel 5 with the Pro...really no need , just doing it anyhow. The P 6 will be replacing my daughters Pixel 3. (Early xmas present)

Have you tried recently? I was able to uninstall Facebook after an update a few months ago.

I know unlock version u can uninstall but i think carrier you only disable from what i remember.

Obviously network operators can add their own crap, but when the unlocked version released you could only disable, then around May or June after a system update I could uninstall it.

Interesting , i cant say for sure because i usually dont check that to uninstall but could of sworn my unlock i could. Plus they could do it differently for international and US version

This is very strange. I just checked my apps. FB is gone. But fb installer is still there.

Got a OnePlus 9 a few weeks ago when my 4xl had to be sent in for repair. Got it back a week ago or so and it is still in the box. So will trade that in for the 6 Pro and keep the OnePlus as a backup.

S21 Plus. Or I might keep it and sell my Pixel 3. I'm still trying to decide. I know the return on each of those phones is vastly different.

Like I said it was basically a filler with Samsung not releasing the Note 21 Ultra.

I've never been a fan of the Pixel, the first and only purchase was a mistake. Google finally listened and they got my attention!!!

I was looking at a Z Flip 3 instead of the pixel 6 Pro, because I could have the same 6.7 inch screen, but with the folding form factor that would take up a lot less room in my pocket, and be more comfy to carry. I'm a pixel lover at heart tho, love pure Android, love the best updates in the business (now for 5 years), and was doubting how long a folding phone would last me vs a regular form factor pixel 6 Pro. I'll be keeping my next phone for a long time, and I'm just not sure a folding phone will last 4 or 5 years.

Plus I'm not a fan of all the bloat on Sammy's devices :eek:

pixel 4xl, but only because I made a mistake 2 years ago and went with the 64gb. I use too many applications for work and personal. 512 pixel 6 pro on order.

They did a great job with flip 3 its truly a joy to carry around and build quality is great.. I waited extra time to get my white phone and now I'm selling lmao.. If ya keeping long term Pixel definitely way...

Note 10+ phone is still doing well. Will keep it as a backup.

I am have been rocking the Note 10 plus for more than 2 yrs the longest I have ever been on a smartphone (period) and still going well.

Just pre ordered the Google Pixel 6 Pro 256gb Stormy Black from EE. Also ordered the charging adapter 30w and green case from Google directly.

EE is saying that it will be delivered after 28th October Launch day whenever that is hopefully earlier the better 🤞

The adapter is coming on Oct 27 and the case on Nov 17

hope this phone is worth all the hype and has the prowess to take on Samsung and Apple

I'm in the same situation. I want to go for the Pixel 6 but would really like to be able to take full advantage of the camera on the pro model. Especially since it offers new hardware along with Google's software enhancements, it should be stellar. BUT...... I have a feeling in the long run I will end up with the Regular and not the pro. Pro is just too damn big for my hands

Currently have Huawei P30 Pro which I love but always wanted a Pixel and have ordered a Pixel 6 I'm just worried I might miss the Telephoto lens but want to keep the cost down.

P6 will be my back up phone. Will pop in the sim every now and then. Z flip 3 will still be my daily until the S22 Ultra comes out.

Sounds like me. Z flip 3 main and 6 pro as side phone. Seems like it will be a good combo.

Using S21 Ultra as my daily driver, adding a pro. Also, purchasing a 6 for my wife.

I will finally be parting ways with the Pixel 4XL with the Pixel 6 Pro on order. Alas she served me well with a few kinks here and there like the time face unlock stopped working after an update and then miraculously came back two months later. Also not having a fingerprint sensor really blew while wearing a mask for over a year BUT the Pixel 4 XL stayed snappy and even now running Android 12 on it even seems snappier. I wanted to pass the 4XL down to my Daughter who currently has a 3a but with no fingerprint sensor she's not interested lol.

Retiring as a back up a Oneplus 7t. Trading in a Oneplus 6.

I'm upgrading from a 3XL

I have One Plus 9 pro that i purchased to save me from a failing Pixel 4xl that kept randomly dying on me. I will keep my One Plus as a back up...a very good back up at that!

Galaxy s21, plan in keeping it so I can use it to trade in for the s22. Samsung seems to always do killer trade deals with the previous years phone.

I am really excited to try one ui 4 as well. I have generally been really happy with one ui.

I am replacing my LG V60 with the 6....I'm starting to think it's not an upgrade at all. I'll give it a go and see, but I think I should have got the Pro.

Loved the 2XL... have a real love hate relationship with the 4XL, which I'm on the third version as the first two both had battery issues and needed to be replaced, and the screen on this one is hanging on by a thin thread. Bottom of the screen cracked on what was a fairly short drop... less than 3 feet, onto a tile floor like 2 days after I received it. Screen protector has kept the cracks from getting worse but, uh, yeah, it's time.
