The Pro is a Honking big phone

I am having second thoughts about ordering the Pro...Couldn't compare it to my P 5 as I needed it to take the pic.

Here is the case for the Pro with a Nexus 6 on the left and an Iphone 6 on the right...Not looking forward to having this thing in my pocket compared to the 5. My 5 is between the Nexus and Iphone in size and fits easily in this case with its case on it.

I'm not going to lie I love the 5's form factor but i think for Google to have this form factor they would of had to cut a lot of corners to fit all the hardware.

It's big yes. I remember when people addressed the issue about the One Plus 7 Pro being massive and heavy. Size wise, the OP 7 Pro and Pixel 6 Pro are pretty much the same. You kind of get used to big phones after a while. The only thing that doesn't get used to it is your jeans! Not pocket friendly at all.

Nothing was as massive as the Nexus 6. The P6 pro should be around the same size as the 3XL. Not a big deal.

Unfortunately there seems to be constant phone size creep. Every phone I get is just a few mm larger than the last. The 6 Pro is a few mm taller than my S21 Plus. There is definitely a point of diminishing returns on phone size with what you can actually fit in your pocket.

Similar and size and weight to my Note 9, I think I can easily handle the 6 Pro.

I use the 4XL. I just got a cheap 6 Pro Case from Amazon. Assuming that it fits, I don't expect much to change. A little heavier.

I ordered my case from Google. Should arrive same day as my phone.

I worry about the size but I will use a popsocket and that will help me to handle it. I use one with my 4a 5G and it is invaluable

Loved the size of my old Nexus 6. Got the OG Pixel XL, then the Pixel 4XL and still miss the larger screen. Ordered the Pixel 6 Pro and am eager for that honking slab of beauty.

We got all the same phones lol I sprinkled the 4a 5G for a little bit …I’m looking forward to running with it again I was not a fan of the small size of the P5

Take another look at that pic..That is a Nexus 6 on the left...The 6 Pro looks a lot bigger.

No way. I've had every Google phone since Nexus one. The nexus 6 was the largest phone I've ever had. I still have it(and all my other Nexus phones). I'll take a picture of it's case next to the pixel 6 pro case later today.

As Snareman mentioned earlier, that phone creep is just killing me lol. The phones get a little bigger each year and I think, yeah I'll still be able to fit that in my pocket. But unfortunately my pockets aren't getting bigger, they're just getting tighter. It's like slow death by a thousand cuts I suppose I'd better start embracing the idea of a man purse or equipment belt lol.

Maybe it was the width I remember most. Pretty much all phones are tall these days for the screen ratios.
