YouTube videos not filling screen

Is there a way to get YouTube videos to fill the screen without having to pinch to zoom every video? On my S21 Ultra, videos in YouTube automatically play at full screen. It's annoying to have to pinch every video. Am I missing something?

It's a setting in YouTube. Go into YouTube settings, then "general," then enable "zoom to fill screen."

Keep in mind that filling the screen means you're cutting of the top and bottom of the image.
