What bothers me the most - no matter what type of so-called release these are - is that they were released to professional reviewers who are going to tell it like it is! Why in the world would Google be so irresponsible to release defective, bug ridden phones to reviewers who are going to upload YouTube videos? This is NOT going to make people want to buy them is it? It makes no business sense at all. It seems as if they have chimpanzees running the show! (I sincerely apologize to all chimps who may be reading this.)

"Bug ridden"? The FP sensor seems to be flawed on Pixel 6A released in India.

Just received notice from Google the P6a and Buds have shipped and should be here Thursday. It will be fun setting it up for my wife. She hates doing things like that but loves using a Pixel.

Pre ordered 2 of them. $300 trade in for my wife's 4A and my SIL's 3A...Plus the 2 $99 Pixel Buds A...You get almost what I paid for those old phones. It was a no brainer. My SIL wasn't sure he wanted a bigger phone so I told him he could have a spare Pixel 5 and I'll sell one of the 6A's.

They blast every Google phone...and not once have I ever had the issues they were critical of. I completely ignore reviewers. The Pixel 2 XL according the critics had the worst screen ever made...and I just scratched my head....

Ok got my 6A. I can confirm that the fingerprint scanner works well, and doesn't unlock with any unregistered fingers. Scanner isn't much better than the one on the pixel flagship 6's though. Maybe just a hair faster.

Just ordered mine from T-Mobile got it for free with a new line and a galaxy watch 4 Also for free. Just hope the 6a is a good phone.

The P6a arrived. Since this is for my wife (upgrade from her Pixel 4a) and she hates setting up a new phone I'll be setting it up for her. She wants to wait until Saturday when the case and screen protector arrive. So then I'll report back on the alleged FPS issue.
The trade in kit will arrive in a couple of days. I'm using my Pixel 4a for the trade. I've already gone through the process of leaving Beta 13 and having the phone wiped and installing A12.

Glad I ordered the 2nd one yesterday , so I received 2 $300 credits(Or will when they get them). The first one arrived today...The FS works very good for me and my right thumb is troublesome on my 6 Pro. I think this sensor is better. It did take a number of tries to get the right print to register (The left thumb and my wife's went through on the first try. My right thumb is scarred. It's faster than the 6 Pro.

I'll double post the pic. 4A, 5 and 6A on right.

Ugh! I *really* wanted to wait for the 7... I guess I'll just hold out and if the 7 line isn't what I expected, I'll get the 6a or 6 Pro.

I'm kind of with you on the P7 series. I was all "I'm pre-ordering the P7PRO as soon as it's open." But after reading and hearing that the P7P might just be an incremental upgrade to the P6P I may just wait until the reviews from a few users come in.
At least I'll have some fun setting up my wife's P6A as soon as the case and screen protectors arrive today.

Google Store screwed up the order - seems to be their MO - canceled order and got the last Chalk model at the local Best Buy which I picked up this AM - $50 store credit too.

Gots to charge it up then set it up.
