The trade in for a s 22 Ultra is 850 now if they don't drop it I will get the pro I have been on the fence but if it come thru I will pull the trigger.

I think it'll probably depend on the amount of RAM in your current phone. For me, coming from a 3XL to a P6 to a P7, the 6 and 7 have seemed snappier than Pixels in the past and keep plenty of apps in memory.

As much as I'd like to get the 7 Pro, I'll be perfectly happy with the 7.

Honestly the telephoto lens isn't that important to me. It certainly would be nice to have though. But I don't like curved edges on phones and how tall those phones are.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. They are advertising that the devices will be free with eligible trade in. So that to me kind of signals that the trade in value will remain the same.

Just chatted with Samsung and I can't trade in my S22+ until it's paid off. I guess I'll be staying with this phone for a while. Oh well. It's been fun dreaming and speculating. In the meantime, I'll be paying extra each month so I can get the Pixel 8 next year. That's one of the downsides to financing a phone for 36 months.

No, the credit is sent after the purchase. I have a code for that as well, but I'm not going to turn it into a fight over who gets the referrals (PM me if you want my code). My code is only valid for the US store, I believe.

The BF deal isn't really much of a deal compared to the pre-order deal, IF you planned on buying any accessories, the Pro got a $200 store credit, the regular 7 got a $100 credit, the BF deal is just that much off the top instead.

A few details on the code - it is restricted to country of the person who provided it (I likewise have one for USA - PM if interested), and is valid through June 30, 2023, with the credit being issued 6-8 weeks after purchase, and that credit being usable until September 30, 2023 (so it almost certainly would not be usable towards an 8-series Pixel device).

While this great towards any of the current Pixels, it represents an absolutely phenomenal deal towards the Pixel 6a at it's current promotional price of $299. If a buyer wants one and would end up spending another $100 on accessories or other purchases down the road, it makes it essentially $200 for a Pixel 6a!

I'm trying to decide if I want to sell my Tab S8 to make up the difference to be able to sell my S22+ and buy the Pixel 7 Pro.

I use my Tablet for just watching videos and playing games. It's nice to have but not needed. I know I could live without it but I would miss it for a little bit. But it would also set up my expectations for the 7 Pro.

I guess I have until next week to decide if I want to just order the Pixel 7 Pro and deal with selling my S22 plus and Tab S8 on Swappa to be able to pay them both off. It's a good deal on it.

Selling your tablet and phone in order to get a phone which is arguably worse in many respects seems like a pretty bad idea. I think you need to try and learn to be happy with the things you have lol

I just went into a Verizon store and held the regular Pixel 7. I have to say I wasn't impressed with the build quality. I could feel the edges of the aluminum frame sitting slightly above the screen. Didn't feel great.

My story is that my previous phone was the S21 Ultra and I sold it to get the S22+ and the Tab S8. I wanted to see what it was like using a Tablet. Some may say that was a downgrade and it didn't make sense.

My reasons for wanting to switch to a Pixel phone are my own and too lengthy to get into here. Right now I'm about 50/50 in getting a Pixel 7 Pro. If I sold my tablet, I wouldn't waste as much time sitting on the couch in the evenings on it. Right now I'm only using it for entertainment purposes and it's gotten in the way of me getting other things done around the house.

So I just saw that Best Buy is offering the Pixel 7 for like $40 with a discount and an Apple XR trade in. They are giving like $460 for that old iphone as a trade in plus $100 off. That is a steak for that phone.
