i bought this used phone just recently.

i didn't use it for about 8 hours or so. the battery power was about more than 50% at that time.

when i tried to use it, it has no power. so i charged it, it showed that it had 18% battery power. after it reached about 22%, i used it to take a photo. it shut down again.

so it seems that this phone will shut down automatically at 18%? and even if i don't use it at night, the battery power will goes to zero in about several hours even if it has at least 50%.

i wonder if it is normal for an old phone, or if it means that battery is bad?

thanks.

You can install Accubattery and run the battery health measurement. If it's <90%, the battery is starting to deteriorate significantly. <85% is generally felt to be end of life for a battery.
