Regarding the dead space on the bottom: It looks proportional to the space up top, so it is more aesthetically pleasing that if it were uneven, in my opinion. Doesn't look much different than 5x.

It looks like....a phone...

For me, the phone's design is about 1% of what I care about, but this looks fine. I'm excited to see it in person and see how it performs.

True... The 5x's speaker grilles break up the dead space on the bezels tho IMO. None the less, it's only a minor cosmetic issue... Nothing that would prevent me from picking one up.

My Note 5 is just over a year old and it has some burn-in of the notification tray. I'm a heavy phone user so burn-in is a concern for me.
