I ordered both a 5X and 6P last year. I returned the 5X because of the plastic build. Then, I heard the battery was a bit small and it couldn't last a moderate day's use.

Fast forward to now - the Pixel is everything the Pixel XL is with a smaller battery, in proportion. Will the battery life hold up since it's slightly larger? I love my 6P but thought a smaller phone might be something new to try this year. I'm replacing my cracked screen'ed 6P instead of paying to fix it. Pricey, I know, but can't seem to find buying year old tech a good idea.

PXL for me in black with 128 GB. After using N6P, I can't go to a smaller phone. Plus the QHD screen is XL only.

I'd go with the XL since you liked the 6P better than the 5X. It'll be smaller than the 6P too.

IF I were buying it would be the XL. (currently have the 6P so its the closest I can get to that)

If I were to get either, it would be the XL with 128GB. I have big hands and could manage the larger, though I'm glad to see the smaller on par with the XL.

It's an easy decision for me. I always opt for the larger device. I have a 6P, so even a Pixel XL will be a downgrade in screen size for me. Still, it looks like a nice device.

My last two phones have been the Nexus 6 and 6p. I don't have an issue handling bigger phones although this time around I did start considering the smaller one just for a change, but when it came time this afternoon I put in a preorder for the XL.
