Yes, the Pixel (and Pixel XL) are Project Fi compatible. It's one of the staple features for the device.

I'm not exactly certain I understand your question. But if you're asking if the Pixel will offer 24/7 Fi support, yes, it will, as Fi already provides the 24/7 support on its Nexus devices.

I was so happy watching the announcement today when she gave a big shoutout to Project Fi users! :-D
Now if only they could do something about Allo...

Fi allegedly scans the region for the "best" current network for you, then switches to that network. It currently switches between Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Wifi.

I say allegedly because it seems to favor Sprint like crazy, even though the signal is always crap with it. I have grown accustomed to forcing it back to T-Mobile every 2 hours.
