Could be. But if I'm not mistaken, samsung is the source. I know that Apple was considering them for next year's Amoled screen. If I do buy, it's going to be the 5 inch, 128 gb.

in one of the hands on video someone mention it being the best screen he has seen in a smartphone.
I will take that with a grain of salt but i think google knows what people want and has been improving screen and camera

If it's as good as the S7/Note 7/iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus then they literally can't see the differences in color accuracy and white point.

I would expect these to be calibrated since the current Pixel devices are calibrated and last year's Nexus were calibrated.

I thought I read that there's a good chance it's the same AMOLED screen as the HTC A9 since HTC built the Pixel? The A9 and M9 had different screens.
