32 GB or 128 GB? Get Device Protection or no?

I owned a 32 GB Nexus 6P that ended up lost. That's the reason I'm considering 3rd party insurance over Google Device Protection: the lack of coverage for loss/theft. Without that, the policy is worthless.

I don't download media to my phone's storage. The bulk of the storage is used for apps, photos (that end up getting uploaded to the cloud anyway), word documents, etc. 32 GB should be fine, no?

I'd definitely go with the 128G version. As for device protection, if it gives you peace of mind, I say do it. Better to be safe than sorry.

I just got the Moto Z Force about a month ago. It's 32Gb and has SD card, so I wasn't too concerned. I've installed every app I use and then some, and only used 14 of the 23GB available. I have a 128GB SD card installed but haven't really touched it. I also do not store much media on my device. The photos are all on Google Photos, so not many kept local.

If I were buying, I'd save the money and go 32GB.

I've used 70 GB on my 6P. It's always better to go with more. If you go with 32 GB (of which you're really not getting 32 GB for apps/media because of the OS partition) and suddenly need more space, you're out of luck.

32 or 128G?....well depends on your needs. I would get device protection based on the cost of this device. That's just me.

128GB for sure. 32GB is just enough to get by.

I got device protection for the first time ever, just because of the cost. If I had to buy a new one, that's another 900 gone. This way, if I break it, I'll only have to pay an addition $79 deductible.

I've never broken a phone before, but it didn't bother me too much because I always had cheap options available.

I grabbed one with 32GB. I don't install many apps or anything, so I think 32GB will be plenty for me. I also got the protection plan. *piece of mind*.

If Device Protection covered loss and theft, I would buy it. I'm shopping around for 3rd party insurance.

P.S.
The 128 GB is all sold out.
