That video was shot with 4K UHD on Panasonic GH4, Lumix and Nikon lenses.

I'm saying that we were led on to think that the video I posted above was shot with a google pixel, as an individual had clipped out the intro and outro and posted on youtube that it was shot with the google pixel and deliberately fooled the masses.
It in-fact was not shot with the pixel.

With the right gimbal, I still think a premium smart phone could video this type of video

Not surprising. Given when it was released and the fact that Google didn't release and/or promote the video, I'm not surprised.
