How did you change the Google icon in the upper left?

It's a zooper widget called Flat UI zooper widgets... There are a lot of great widgets in that collection

The weather widget on mine appeared overnight - probably the result of several updates
I think Google Launcher was one of them

I updated my homescreen a bit. I used to have a weather widget, but that seemed redundant.

I agree on the redundancy since you can't move Google's. I just wish it showed location.

Yup! Home screen just has the Business Calendar 2 transparent widget (days/events on the right side), and the side screen just has the 1Weather widget at the top and google play music widget below it.
