This may help, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202304 ... also, if you're using Two-Factor Authentication, you may have to create an app-specific password here https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin

If you want a cleaner iCloud experience on Android I would use the Outlook app. It has integrated calendar features so will sync mail and calendar (if you use that).

In my family I'm the only Android user. Wife, daughter, and son are on iPhone and we do the family shared calendar and family apple music. Outlook allows me to snap into that calendar along with my iCloud mail which I've kept since my iPhone days.

    Hey @jowilf,

I just ran into this issue today. I'm not sure if you still need a solution, but in case anyone else hits this thread. Here's what worked for me.

log into your iCloud account here as @danwwright suggested:
    https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin

if you have the 2 step verification code, you'll need to enter it after you log in. I had mine sent via text

once you're in, scroll down to the "Security" section. Here you can either turn off "TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION" or just generate a password under "APP-SPECIFIC PASSWORDS".

For me, I just generated a one time password. This is the password I used when I was setting up the iCloud account through an app called "BlueMail" but I would think you could also set this up through the native gmail app.

After entering that generated password, everything authenticated perfectly fine. I didn't have any other issue with the setup.

@jowilf I can second @paoloroid's approach - I just completed it just now, and was able to get my icloud email on my Android.

Quick question to a bunch of people who are way smarter than me.

If you get your iCloud email working on pixel, does that mean you also can use your iCloud calendar???
