How to Tell a Verizon Pixel XL from a Google Store Pixel XL?

I'm looking to buy a Pixel XL from Craigslist since the store is sold out and the seller is saying it's a Google Store version. How can I be sure of this?

Is there something in the setting? The version # or what? Thanks!

When you put a Verizon sim in its when the Verizon stuff gets installed.

Other than having a locked bootloader on the Verizon model, there is no difference. Either one can be used on any carrier.

I got the phone from Verizon, got it all setup and no Verizon app got installed.
Maybe when they changed their mind with the updates they changed that as well?

No it doesn't. At least it didn't happen to me. I have a Verizon sim in my phone and I bought my phone from Google. No go90, Verizon messages or myVerizon installed on my phone.
