How do I switch to Pixel XL from Note 7?

Hey, so my dilemma is that I am with AT&T and I bought my Note 7 from BestBuy. I traded in my Note 5 to bestbuy which lowered the price of the Note 7 and I just pay monthly for the Note 7. I think it is 30 something a month. Let's say I want to switch to the Pixel XL because of the Note 7 recall. How would I go about that? AT&T doesn't sell it so I would basically have to pay retail for the pixel and BestBuy would only refund me what I paid upfront for the note7 correct? So in reality if I don't want to spend a ton of money my only option is to exchange my note 7 for the LG V20 or some other phone sold by AT&T at BestBuy and continue my payment's?

Since this involves Best Buy, I'd suggest talking to them. It seems like it depends on who you talk to where and at what time of day, as far as the answers people have gotten. Good Luck.

ETA - I have never gotten a phone but BB, but many other items and was always treated fairly in all my BB dealings

As far as I know Samsung will refund you all your money plus any down payments(phone trade in)
