Need USB A to C cable, my head is going to explode

In need a USB A to C cable to charge my pixel xl in the office. Not worried about rapid charging there. Reading all of the info (plus Benson and other spreadsheets) here is overwhelming. The charger puts out 2.5a at 5v (iClever). Does it matter what cable I get?

It can. There have been issues with the specifications of cables and the damage they can cause. It's that reason that Benson started his review list. There was a bad cable that fired a Pixel C (as I recall) and he took it upon himself to rate cables.

If you want to keep it simple, I would get the cable from the Google Store. More expensive, yes. But, you know it's a proper cable. As I recall I got an A to C cable for about $15.

Thanks, this is crazy that it's become this complex to purchase a cable. But I suffered through studying the table and ordered one.

I picked up a few on Amazon for about $8 each. Just look for Benson's name in the review on Amazon

Doesn't it come with one? And I agree with previous comment, Google store. I wouldn't risk it.

I need one for my car and one for my office, and I'll use the official charger at home.

Car Wise I would say buy the Belkin car charger and spring for the official charger for your office as well
