Hardware replacement needed?

One of three scenarios has been happening lately:
- the green line shown above
- what appears to be a stuck blue pixel (that I think is along the same line)
- or the screen looks OK

Most of the time, it's been the green line.

I've had an issue like that with my HTC m8. The screen is damaged internally. I'd request a warranty replacement if you can.

I used the support feature within the Pixel to notify Google.

They told me to contact Best Buy, who I purchased the device from (on Verizon DPP).

Because I didn't get any extra Best Buy protection plan, they told me to go back to Google.

If you use it on a Verizon plan contact them about a replacement. It should have a 1 year warranty for defective parts unless you caused the damage.

If you use it on another carrier you would have to go through Google.

I'm with Verizon but got it replaced by Google.

I would be SOL if this happens to my phone. I bought mine from Craiglist last November. Am I still eligible for warranty in case something goes wrong with my Pixel?

If something happens, use the built-in support line/chat. They'll verify the IMEI and support you accordingly.
